Over the past few months, we've had the opportunity to provide balloons for various grand openings and other events. In the months coming, we look forward to participating in more events and hope to see you out and about.

Recently I received an email with an article about why you should hire your children to work for your small business. It was a really good read and put a little fire under my feet. My daughter was thrilled about the balloon business, mainly for the money... I mean aren't all kids thrilled about having their own money. She was less thrilled about the part where she actually had to help do the work. Some events she ditched me and some she actually earned her share. Lol. With all that being said, I was excited that she got to attend the Balloon Boss Mastermind class with me, because she got to hear real numbers and work with some other balloon professionals. It's not always easy working with your parents, but it was refreshing watching her work with the group and step up. Thank you to Joette from Balloon Coach for allowing my daughter to participate, and a big thank you to all the sponsors who made the Balloon Boss Mastermind Tour a reality. To name a few, Qualatex, Betallic, Clik Clik, and Hi-Float. We are so liking forward to using the tips and tricks that we learned from this class.
Check out a few more pictures from class. And if you want to visit the article I referred to above, here's the link... Hey!! Hope you all had a great weekend! Ours was very busy, with Panoply on Friday, Redstone's Community Yard Sale on Saturday, and a Bridal Expo hosted by the White Lace Bridal Lounge on Sunday. We had the opportunity to meet and network with so many great brides and people from the community. Below are a few of the vendors that were on site. Feel free to connect with anyone that could be of assistance to you or someone you know.

Support this great cause and purchase your ticket today. See you at Prom!! This weekend we had the opportunity to help decorate a lovely venue named InstaSpace Studio. It is located right outside of Huntsville on Hwy 53 in Harvest, Alabama. The space is HUGE and can be transformed into endless possibilities. Check them out on Facebook and/or Instagram for more photos and the link for reservations. Now to Headshots & Mimosas… this event was the reason I even learned about InstaSpace. The idea for Headshots & Mimosas was birthed by Fred Brown of “Fredro Star Productions” and executed by so many wonderful people. If you were unable to get a ticket or chose not to, you definitely missed out on a good time with great food, a great DJ, and great people! The idea behind this event was to help new business owners as well as seasoned owners, update their professional headshots and network while you wait. There were tons of giveaways including prizes from Dapper Dude, Chef Jocelyn Kitchen, Seventh & Grand Interior Design and Home Staging, Guilford LLC, and so many more! Major shout out to everyone who had the opportunity to help bring Fred’s vision to life! - LaToya Hope, Owner of “InstaSpace”. Derrick Williams of “Virtuous Artistic”. Vic Vergara of “Vergara Photography”. DJ ML Six. Allen Noble of “Noble Chefs”. Kerry Warner of “SETS Revealed”. ShaDana Campbell, the Mixologist. Marcella Logan and Ashley Brown as the “Welcoming Committee”. And the last shout out is to Essence Nesbit of “Designs by Essence” for the balloons. If you are looking for that final touch to really set off your event, be sure to send an email requesting your personalized quote today!
Have a great day and remainder of the week!!! This past weekend we had the opportunity to provide balloon bouquets for an awesome fundraising event and 1 year celebration. Upon arriving and setting up, we learned so much about the group hosting the event and what they have to offer. Hard Knocks Rescue & Training, Inc. (HKR&T) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, designed for the “unadoptable dogs.” The ladies of this group have a substantial amount of years of experience with rescuing what we would call the “under dogs" and decided to create a way to help more dogs on a larger scale. My understanding is that they take in the dogs who are least likely to be adopted, whether it be because of biting or other unfavorable behavior. They take the time to train and love on these dogs to help them get to a point where they can be placed into a forever home. If dogs have a special place in your heart as well, take a moment to check out www.hkrtInc.com and read more about this company. If you find that you would like to help but are unable to volunteer or foster, they definitely accept donations as well. The list below was taken from HKR&T’s website, to give you a glimpse at some of the items they are in continuous need of… • Seat belts for our dogs during transportation • Food and water bowls • Dog beds the bigger, the better • Kong dog toys, also the bigger the better • Old blankets • Old towels • Peanut butter • Laundry detergent pods • White vinegar • Chew bones • Dog food • Treats Again, feel free to check out their Facebook page and website for any further information and/or ways to help out. Have a great week!!!
Have you looked at a calendar lately? Then you know that time is winding down for planning an epic Valentine's Day for your boo! So you've got the dinner reservations booked, the flowers have been ordered, maybe even an edible arrangement to be on the kitchen table when your love wakes up... but something is still missing... What about a special delivery of love notes?!! Each Love Note delivery includes 10 hand written notes from you to your love. We have 2 different sizes available, make it grand with 50 heart balloons stuffed inside or make it a more intimate gesture with about 20 - 25 heart balloons inside... either way, your mate will be shocked and amazed!
As our special treat, any Valentine's balloon orders booked and paid for by February 1st, 2019 will receive 15% off the order. Having a Valentine's Party? We have options for that as well! Some of you have travelled to Dollar Tree and other party stores recently, only to be told that the store is experiencing a “helium shortage”. They are not pulling your leg, it’s true. One company has purchased the majority of the helium supply and the prices are rising, this is making it hard for some companies to receive their normal supply. What does this mean for you? It just means that you get to experience a wider variety of balloon options! Designs by Essence has trained and focused on being able to provide custom air-filled designs. This includes balloon walls, photo frames, balloon arches, and columns. We also provide table décor for birthday parties and formal events. There are so many options open to those who are willing to look beyond helium. We are now taking bookings for birthday parties, baby showers, proms, weddings, graduations, and anything else you may have going on. Contact us today for a consultation and personalized quote.
Talk to you soon! "You can't have a fresh start with old opinions!" - Bishop Today the Single Moms Ministry at Hope Community Church enlisted our services to help make a "statement" at their Ministry Fair. We love how the set up came together and the joy that it brought to the crowd.
We also enjoyed the service before hand. Sometimes we get so caught up in what's going on around us and forget to breathe. We also forget how important it is to try new things, even when we already have an opinion on it. You'll never know if your opinion is right or wrong if you never give it a try. So get out and try something new this year! And if it includes a celebration, don't forget the balloons. We have you covered! Happy New Year!!!
I'm thankful to see another year and so glad to see that you've made it to another year also! As you move throughout the next 12 chapters of your life, take a moment to smell the roses and enjoy some balloons. This year we look forward to sharing our journey with our readers and fellow balloon enthusiasts. Stay tuned for amazing photos and great balloon art. See you soon!! |
